I wouldn't leave the house without makeup! Not until after my photofacials courtesy of Dr. Lloyd and Allure Cosmetic Medical Center. After years of tanning beds and beaches, I was left with brown blotches and sun-spots on my face. I was self-conscious, I felt ugly - unless they were covered with concealer and foundation. I spent hundreds of dollars on brightening and lightening over-the-counter creams. None of them worked! Finally, I saw an ad on our station website (news4jax.com) for Allure Cosmetic Medical Center. I went to see Dr. Lloyd, to ask her what I could do to fix the problem. She immediately suggested that I have a series of photofacials. After just one, I saw a HUGE difference. The brown spots almost completely faded away. Now, I've had two and for the first time in as many years, I finally left the house without makeup! That was my goal and I owe it all to Dr Lloyd and this wonderful procedure.

When I was young, I got a tattoo on my shoulder. A few years later, I began to like my tattoo less and less. At one point, I started to choose clothing with long sleeves or at least long enough to cover the tattoo. You can do this just for so long while living in Florida, before you get tired of it. I started to look for a doctor who offered services of removing tattoos. I found a few; they were either extremely expensive, lived too far away or weren't offering the proper level of sophistication in terms of the removal equipment. I was desperate to have my tattoo gone, but decided to wait until I find the right place to have the procedure done. Another year or two went by, before I finally found the right doctor - Dr. Lloyd, owner of the Allure Cosmetic Medical Center. I made an appointment immediately and went to see Dr. Lloyd. When Dr. Lloyd examined my tattoo, she offered me a program that would ensure the complete removal of my tattoo with minimal scarring. After hearing horror stories from people about ugly scars and only faded tattoos, I was a little bit skeptical about the process. However, today I am tattoo free, and like Dr. Lloyd promised me, no scaring whatsoever. Some of my friends who have seen the results were really impressed and are ready to come and see Dr. Lloyd as well. I recommend Dr. Lloyd with confidence to everyone who is considering tattoo removal. I also recommend getting started right away, because it takes some time.

Like the other men in my family, I was unfortunate enough to have to deal with back hair. For years it bothered me, causing me to rarely take off my shirt in front of others. In an attempt to treat it, I shaved my back on a regular basis, but razors only provided a temporary solution to the problem. My back was only smooth for a day or so. A few times, I attempted to use a depilatory, but with burning, painful results. Friends of mine used to tell me how they went for back waxing treatments, but that also seemed painful and temporary. My first experience with Dr. Lloyd was in 2006, when she removed a growth from my son's face. She did everything with such great care and precision, I knew I could trust her with my own skin care.
I began laser hair removal treatments for my under chin in November of 2007. I am very pleased with my results! Each time I receive a treatment, Dr. Lloyd is very professional and thoughtful in making sure that I am comfortable and not experiencing any pain.
Dr. Lloyd is very dedicated to all of her patients and I can't imagine having anyone else treat my skin.
