The owner and founder, Dr Antoinette Lloyd, MD, graduated from Yale University School of Medicine with Honors. She then completed her residency at the University of Florida. Dr Lloyd’s work in Florida included work as a Board Certified Family Physician and as an Assistant Professor for the University Of Florida College Of Medicine. Dr Lloyd practiced medicine in New York, Rhode Island, Arizona, South Carolina, and Florida for a total of 18 years before opening Allure Cosmetic Medical Center in 2004.

Dr Lloyd was one of the very first physicians in Northeast Florida to open a practice solely dedicated to non-surgical cosmetic medicine. She was also the first physician in Florida to receive Board Certification by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. Dr Lloyd has personally trained all of the staff at Allure Cosmetic Medical Center and she currently serves as a Faculty member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine

Dr. Colleen Thoms, Medical Director

As a Navy veteran and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Colleen Thoms is a well-known physician here on the First Coast. She graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and practiced family medicine for the United States Navy.  During her 26-years of medical military service, Dr Thoms was honored with numerous medals and awards relative to her care, commitment, and leadership qualities.

Today, Dr Thoms continues her success and service at Allure.  The owner, Dr. Antoinette Lloyd, recruited Dr Thoms because of her reputation for providing quality care. Dr. Thoms has been personally trained in Aesthetic Medicine by Dr. Lloyd and enjoys helping clients rejuvenate their appearance. Dr Thoms is a strong advocate of Aesthetic Medicine, not only as a provider, but as a patient. She can easily relate to the motivations, apprehensions, and expectations of a client. Oftentimes, Dr Thoms will share her before and after pictures  with clients to set expectations for their Allure experience.  She thoroughly consults with each client and enjoys providing valuable information about the products and/or services before they are provided. Dr Thoms is committed to providing compassionate care to patients at Allure Cosmetic Medical Center.

2. Our Photo Gallery contains pictures of our “actual” patients.

Unlike other websites that use before & after photos obtained from cosmetic manufacturers, Allure only uses photographs of our actual clients. All of our photographs located in our Photo Gallery are untouched so you can appreciate the skill of our staff and the effectiveness of our treatments. When you visit our office, more client before & after photos are available for you to view.

FYI: If an office cannot provide pictures of their work, this may be a sign of inexperience or unfavorable results. If they do have pictures for viewing, make sure you confirm that the pictures are of their actual patients and they have never been retouched.

Dr. Susanna Stewart
 
Dr Susanna Stewart’s educational background includes a Doctorate of Nursing from Rush University, M.S. in Nursing from Northern Illinois University, and B.S. in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University. With over 39-years of medical experience, Dr. Stewart has become a sought after speaker for national medical conventions and various hospital groups. Additionally, she has written for numerous medical publications and participated in research to advance her specialty of Anesthesia.

Dr Stewart is a Navy Veteran who has received many honors including a National Defense Medal and induction as Fellow to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (ANNA). Her personal and professional interest in cosmetic medicine caught the attention of Allure’s founder, Antoinette Lloyd, who later recruited and trained Dr Stewart in Aesthetics. Dr Stewart continues her education in Aesthetics by attending annual trainings to sharpen her talents. Patients enjoy Dr Stewart’s zeal for life, pleasant demeanor, and meticulous nature. She is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and is passionate about improving the quality of life for her clients.

Mary Notrica, ARNP

Nurse Mary Notrica is a passionate professional with over 20-years experience in medicine. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a Masters of Science in Nursing. As an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner, she has practiced in various specialties including Pain Management, Orthopedics, and Employee Health and Wellness. Additionally – Nurse Notrica has served as an instructor at The University of Tampa, and in the College of Nursing at the University of South Florida. She is also a current member of the American Nurses Association (ANA).

Nurse Notrica is dedicated to quality care and can easily identify with patients, both as a current client and as a member of staff. She knows first hand the benefits of cosmetic medicine and the quality it can add to your life.
